PI-CASC Graduate Student Symposium

The Symposium will showcase emerging scientists working towards climate adaptation. These students will present their science-to-management research on topics as diverse as forest restoration, coral reef health, sea-level rise impacts and planning tools, and supporting the development of sustainable sea transport. This event is intended for researchers, resource managers, officials, practitioners, and other science-users interested in climate change impacts and adaptation for ecosystems and communities in 51ÂÒÂ×»»ÆÞÊ»i and the U.S.-Affiliated Pacific Islands. The PI-CASC Graduate Student Symposium is a part of the 51ÂÒÂ×»»ÆÞÊ»i Climate Week, March 25th-28th, 2024. The annual event highlights the climate change initiatives of the State of 51ÂÒÂ×»»ÆÞÊ»i and its many partners, and strategically identifies what actions we must collectively pursue to mitigate the potentially catastrophic effects of global warming.
