If you are paying your own living expenses, consider yourself independent, and finding it hard to provide yourself with nutritional meals? Come down to the UHM Campus Center Courtyard during the Food Drop event and talk with us. We'll have a table near the ATM's. Find out about SNAP eligibility and how to apply for this federally funded entitlement food program. You do not have to have children to be eligible, although most student parents are able to receive this food benefit. Come by and talk story with us. Bring information about your monthly household income and living expenses to find out if you are we eligible. Submit an online application on site with Helping Hands 51ÂÒÂ×»»ÆÞi. * SNAP reduces poverty and food insecurity - no one should go hungry*
