Join us on April 19th from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. for a 51׻ian Religion Today lecture by Dr. Kalehua Krug. Lecture summary: Situated from the lens of a Kākau Uhi (51׻ian Tattoo) practitioner, Dr.Krug will introduce the idea of the existence of and need for 51׻ian religious guiding principles, or loina, in 51׻ian society today. In 51׻ʻi, religion has been utilized to fulfill an evolutionarily humanistic need. This presentation will briefly discuss the baseline characteristics of this need, and point out the skills necessary to properly engage in this investigative process
