Indo-Pacific Affairs Internship Award Showcase & Info Session

Join us in person or online on Thursday, November 9 at 2–3 pm HST to celebrate the achievements of three of our 2023 Indo-Pacific Internship Award recipients, to hear about their experiences, and to learn more about how you can apply for the 2024 Indo-Pacific Affairs Internship Program, which provides $4,000 stipends to support undergraduate and graduate students at UH ²ÑÄå²Ô´Ç²¹ who wish to pursue relevant internships.

This is a hybrid event. It will be held in 258 Moore Hall at the University of 51ÂÒÂ×»»ÆÞ‘i at ²ÑÄå²Ô´Ç²¹ campus, and you can also join via Zoom. To register for the Zoom meeting, go to .

This session will feature presentations by three award recipients: Rita Mae Keller (Summer 2023 Department of the Interior Intern), Justine Kuna Sison (2023 Pacific Forum Intern), and Amanda Spincola (2023 US Indo-Pacific Command Intern).

The College of Social Sciences, the School of Pacific and Asian Studies, the Center for Pacific Islands Studies, and the Center for Indo-Pacific Affairs at the University of 51ÂÒÂ×»»ÆÞ‘i at ²ÑÄå²Ô´Ç²¹ partnered to launch this program in 2022 with the support of Congressional funding. The award stipends are intended to make valuable professional development opportunities more accessible to undergraduate and graduate students from diverse backgrounds.
